Casalini: Winegrowers
in Colbertaldo

history

The Origins: From Family Roots to Oenological Studies

The story of Casalini Winery began with Lino and the family-owned vineyards deeply rooted in the hills of Colbertaldo.

In the late 1980s, Andrea embarked on his studies in Oenology at the historic G.B. Cerletti Institute in Conegliano, one of Italy’s most prestigious wine schools. During the 1989–1990 academic year, a project focused on creating a model winery became the starting point for what would eventually grow into today’s Casalini Winery.

The Foundation and Growth: The Evolution Towards Heroic Viticulture

In 1991, Andrea Casalini Winery was officially established as a small family business. Over the years, the estate has steadily expanded both its vineyard holdings and production capacity, reaching its current size of approximately 8 hectares, including 3 hectares located within the renowned “heroic vineyards” of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG area, where some of Italy’s finest sparkling wines are produced.

Vineyards and Winery

Our philosophy

Casalini is, above all, a family-run winery where every decision is guided by a deep respect for the vineyard and the land.
From selecting the most suitable grape varieties and rootstocks to carefully managing every stage of vineyard cultivation, each activity is carried out with meticulous attention to quality and sustainability.

In the winery, traditional expertise is complemented by modern winemaking technology, allowing us to preserve the character of the grapes while producing elegant wines that faithfully express the unique identity of their place of origin.
